Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PLAYREZ ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

PLAYREZ provides court booking and scheduling software for sports clubs, communities, and organizations, as well as tournament hosting software for tournament organizers and their participants.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Violate or infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Bookings and Reservations

When making court bookings through PlayRez:

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your booking information
• Cancellation policies are set by individual clubs/communities
• We are not responsible for disputes between users and clubs
• Clubs reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings as needed
• You agree to honor your bookings and follow club rules

Tournament Hosting

Organizers and Events

PlayRez provides software that tournament organizers ("Hosts") use to run their own events. Hosts are independent from PlayRez. When you host a tournament, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your event, including its rules, format, venue, scheduling, safety, supervision, and compliance with applicable laws
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your tournament pages
• You will respond to participant questions, withdrawal requests, and payment issues in a timely manner
• PlayRez is not the organizer, sponsor, or operator of your event

Entry Fees and Platform Fee

• Entry fees are charged by the Host through the Host's own connected Stripe account. The Host — not PlayRez — is the merchant of record for entry fees
• PlayRez deducts a flat platform fee of $1 per paid signup from the Host's payout. Free tournaments incur no platform fee
• Standard Stripe payment processing fees apply to entry fee transactions
• Platform fee amounts may change with notice; changes apply only to future signups

Refunds and Cancellations

• Refunds of entry fees are decided and issued by the Host. Participants should contact the tournament organizer with refund or withdrawal requests
• If a Host cancels a tournament, the Host is responsible for refunding paid participants
• PlayRez platform fees on completed paid signups are non-refundable, including when the Host refunds the participant
• PlayRez may issue refunds or reverse transactions where required by law or Stripe's rules

Participation

If you register for a tournament through PlayRez:

• Your registration information (including partner or team details you submit) is shared with the tournament organizer to run the event
• Your name and results may appear on public tournament pages such as rosters, brackets, schedules, and standings
• You participate at your own risk. PlayRez is not responsible for injuries, property damage, disputes, or other losses arising from events organized by Hosts
• Payment, refund, and conduct disputes are between you and the organizer

Subscription and Payments

Free and Paid Plans

PlayRez offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans may include:

• Monthly or annual billing cycles
• 10-day free trial for paid plans
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled

Billing and Refunds

• Subscription fees are billed in advance
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis
• We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PlayRez and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of information

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAYREZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Any disputes between users and clubs/communities
• Any disputes between participants and tournament organizers, or injuries and losses arising from events run by organizers

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PlayRez harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
